Bedrock Energy wants geothermal to make data centers cooler and offices more comfortable

Bedrock Energy is advancing geothermal energy by drilling deeper wells up to 1,200 feet, improving space efficiency for commercial buildings. The company completed its first two installations last year, expecting project profitability soon. Bedrock is also exploring geothermal cooling for data centers, partnering with Dominion Energy. This method is about twice as efficient as water and air cooling, particularly in hot, humid conditions. Bedrock recently raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Titanium Ventures to support growth and research.
