Why I’m excited about text-box-trim as a designer

New CSS properties text-box-trim, text-edge, and text-box are being developed to improve typesetting and alignment control in web browsers. These properties will allow designers to trim unwanted space around text, creating more precise layouts and better vertical rhythm. The changes will enable easier centering of text in buttons, flush baseline alignment, and creative typography effects. While still in draft status, these properties have the potential to significantly enhance web design capabilities once browser support becomes more widespread.
