They don't make 'em like they used to? Older coders are more in tune with vibe coding, study claims

Senior developers are embracing AI coding tools to deliver software faster while still carefully reviewing machine-generated flaws. A Fastly survey reveals that 33% of experienced coders produce over half their work with AI assistance, compared to just 13% of junior developers who prefer hand-crafting code. More than 70% of all programmers report AI makes coding more enjoyable, though older developers show greater awareness of software's environmental impacts.
