Pglayers – PostgreSQL extensions as stackable Docker layers

pglayers solves the headache of missing PostgreSQL extensions in official Docker images by publishing each extension as a minimal Docker layer you can stack with a single COPY --from line. No compilation, no third-party base images — just pick pgvector, PostGIS, TimescaleDB, or 50+ others and layer them onto the official postgres image. Pre-built profiles for common managed services like Azure are also included.
