pyobfus is an open-source, AST-based Python code obfuscator supporting Python 3.9–3.14 with features like name mangling, AES-256 string encryption, control-flow flattening, and framework-aware presets for FastAPI, Django, and ML stacks. Its standout feature is a reverse stack-trace mapping workflow that lets you or an AI assistant debug obfuscated production errors without sacrificing protection. An MCP server integrates it directly into Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf.
