GitHub Copilot brings mockups to life by generating code from images

GitHub has unveiled several updates to its AI-powered coding assistant, Copilot. New features include Vision for Copilot, which allows users to upload images to generate code and interface designs, and "next edit suggestions" that predict and suggest code edits based on recent changes. GitHub also introduced an "agent mode" for Copilot Edits, which automatically identifies relevant files for requested changes. The company teased Project Padawan, a future software engineering agent capable of handling entire tasks independently under developer supervision.
