Anthropic reveals new Opus 4.5 model, brings Claude Code to the Mac app

Anthropic launched Claude Opus 4.5, calling it the best model for coding, agents, and computer use. Internal testers report it handles complex multi-system bugs and ambiguous tasks that were previously near-impossible for Sonnet 4.5. The model is more token-efficient, making it more affordable. Claude Code is now available on desktop apps for the first time, and conversation limits have been improved through automatic summarization.
