Dell has unveiled PowerCool Enclosed Rear Door Heat Exchanger (eRDHx), a new cooling system for data centers. The technology captures 100% of IT heat generated, reducing cooling energy costs by up to 60% compared to current solutions. eRDHx operates with warmer water temperatures, eliminating the need for expensive chillers and allowing for more dense compute deployment without increasing power consumption. The system includes advanced leak detection and thermal monitoring capabilities.
