Despite initial excitement from AI researchers who saw glimpses of artificial general intelligence, experts revealed the platform as "AI theater" where bots simply mimic human social media patterns without true autonomy or intelligence, with significant human involvement behind every action and serious security risks from unvetted bot interactions.
