Microsoft will put buy buttons directly in Copilot

Microsoft is launching Copilot Checkout, allowing users to purchase products directly within the AI chatbot without leaving the conversation. When asking for product recommendations, users can now click a "Buy" button that opens a checkout screen for entering payment and shipping details, eliminating the need to visit retailer websites. The feature launches with select partners including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Ashley Furniture, joining a growing trend of AI-powered shopping assistants from competitors like OpenAI and Google.
