Mastering Edge AI on Raspberry Pi with LiteRT and Gemma

Google's LiteRT runtime makes it easy to run AI models on a Raspberry Pi 5 completely offline, with no cloud connection needed. Paired with Google's lightweight Gemma models, developers can build real-time systems like the Reachy Mini robot, which uses speech recognition, object detection, and language reasoning simultaneously. The Gemma 4 E2B model achieves roughly 300 words per minute on-device, and LiteRT support for Hailo AI accelerators is coming soon.
