Demarkus – De-centralized Markdown for Us: memory for AI agents and humans

Demarkus introduces a new internet protocol that reimagines web browsing around markdown format for collaboration between humans and AI agents. The system delivers content over QUIC protocol using a mark:// scheme, eliminating web complexities like rendering pipelines, tracking, and commercialization while prioritizing privacy and security. Currently in Phase 2 development, Demarkus includes servers, command-line tools, terminal browsers, and MCP integration that allows AI agents to read, write, and maintain persistent memory across sessions through structured markdown documents.
