Claude Skills are awesome, maybe a bigger deal than MCP

Anthropic launched Claude Skills, a new pattern that lets Claude access specialized instructions, scripts, and resources stored in simple Markdown files to improve performance on specific tasks. Unlike Model Context Protocol which consumes thousands of tokens, Skills are token-efficient and only load when relevant, requiring a coding environment but offering powerful automation capabilities that can work across different AI models.
