AI made design faster, but did it make it less intentional?

AI tools like Figma Make have made it faster than ever to generate polished designs and prototypes, but speed alone doesn't guarantee better products. While design output has increased dramatically, product thinking hasn't kept pace — AI-generated concepts often miss edge cases, technical constraints, and system-level impacts. As execution becomes easier, evaluating whether solutions solve the right problem becomes the real challenge, making product judgment and systems thinking the most valuable skills for designers today.
